Having class time to review the important skills you teach your students can be challenging. These Fire Safety Counting Puzzles are perfect for student independent work in your math center, seat work, or with you during small group time!
These Fire Safety Counting Puzzles are included in this discounted YEAR LONG bundle - Number Puzzles | Numbers 1 - 20 | Counting On Big Bundle!! Click here to purchase this discounted bundle today!
You will love how easy it is to prepare these Fire Safety Themed Counting Puzzles for your class. My students LOVED counting puzzles and your students will too! You can dedicate one of your math centers, math workstations, as a puzzle center. By changing out the skill each week, your students already know the directions for learning with these counting puzzles. Your students will enjoy the freedom of math puzzles while learning and reviewing important skills at the same time!
This Fire Safety Counting Puzzles Resource has 18 colored versions of counting and skip counting and 18 blackline masters of the same clip art! After playing with the colored version of these math counting puzzles, students can then glue the black and white printables directly into their classroom math journals, construction paper or on an additional copy of the counting puzzle. Perfect for an informal assessment grade! See the preview and preview pictures for some examples of the multiple ways to use this math center!
When it comes to the ease of prepping these seasonal math counting puzzles, all pieces are rectangular and easy for you or a parent volunteer to cut on a paper slicer. No need to cut around a cute turkey or round pumpkin task card, just rectangles with graphics that are adorable and eye catching to hold your students' interest!
In small group lessons you can give each student three to four pieces of a puzzle and they can help each other to complete the entire puzzle together, keeping everyone involved! Keep your students engaged, alert and on their toes with this one little, cute counting resource!
The black and white versions of the puzzle are OUTLINES which allow your students to color these puzzles adding some much need joy to our classrooms! These pages use very little ink, as they are not gray scale versions of the clip art.
** Three different pictures for each skill level to differentiate easily. **
